Honest.
Authentic.
Discerning and deep.
Insightful.
Intentional.
Getting what you see.

AND (or as Morgan Harper Nichols would say, “and at the same time”)

You can bullshit with me.
Keeping it real certainly doesn’t always mean intensity.
A dear friend recently told me
How I can laugh and love interchangeably
(“LIV • LAUGH • LOVE, LOL”)

Called to the depths, but
I know how to swim
Comfortable on the shore
But aware of my capacity for more
And I can dive deep
Or lay out on the sand

It’s the both/and
It’s who I am — all of it.

hey, I’m liv.

who and how I am:

I'm Liv—a writer and all-around authentic soul living in Minneapolis, Minnesota. With almost a decade of experience running events for new students in a university setting, I am passionate about creating spaces where people feel welcome and able to be themselves. This happens through my words and through creating spaces and events in the world. As an Enneagram 4w5, I am all about the deeper things of life and will be that person asking thoughtful questions and wanting to engage in meaningful conversation. At the same time, I also believe in the power and art of humor, so you'll likely experience my affinity for stupid humor as well (think The Office, I Think You Should Leave, and Hot Rod). I like to think that keeps things pretty authentic around here.

I am a collaborative and thoughtful creative with strong communication and organizational skills. I am passionate about creating meaningful experiences and environments for connection and growth. Since stepping away from my higher education role back in 2022, I have gotten to work with and alongside some incredible people and organizations I still can’t get over – Jo Saxton, Sarah Bessey and the Evolving Faith team, Rachel Marie Kang and The Fallow House team, Stephen Roach and The Breath and the Clay event, Jess Ray and The Guild Conference, and Sara Groves at Art House North here in the twin cities. The work ranged from copywriting/editing, graphic design, communications, and event management.

As a writer and communicator, you'll find my words to be authentic and sincere, honest and real. I'm a connector at heart and want to share in a way that resounds with people that need to hear it. As a manager of events, you'll find me to be a perceptive partner in identifying what needs to happen and intentional about how exactly to pull it all off. I do everything I can to make sure attendees feel at home and at ease as soon as they arrive and throughout our entire time together. I love leading teams to help make that happen, prioritizing a radical hospitality that centers and honors the ones that show up.
